Sketchers- Eastfield Mall

Project Scope:

Casey Electrical Services (CES) is preparing to complete the full electrical fit-out for a new Skechers retail location within the 250,000+ square foot Eastfield Mall redevelopment in Springfield, MA. As part of this large-scale commercial project led by Seppala Construction, CES will deliver a comprehensive electrical build-out tailored to the operational and branding requirements of a national footwear retailer.

This fit-out will include complete power distribution, lighting systems designed to enhance product visibility, and integrated life safety systems to ensure compliance with all state and local codes. Our team will coordinate closely with the general contractor and tenant representatives to ensure the space is move-in ready and fully operational ahead of opening.

Planned Installations and Upgrades:

Power Distribution & Electrical Infrastructure:

• Tenant Panel & Distribution Installation: Dedicated electrical panels and distribution systems designed to handle retail loads, POS systems, and back-of-house operations.

• Equipment & Display Power: Powering checkout stations, security systems, digital displays, and merchandising areas.

• Energy-Conscious Design: Efficient electrical layout to reduce long-term operating costs while maintaining high performance.

Lighting Systems:

• Retail Sales Floor Lighting: High-efficiency LED lighting to provide bright, even illumination across the showroom floor.

• Accent & Display Lighting: Focused lighting to enhance featured product displays and brand presentation.

• Back-of-House Lighting: Functional lighting for storage rooms, stock areas, and employee spaces.

Fire Alarm & Safety Systems:

• Integrated Fire Alarm Devices: Installation of required detection, notification, and monitoring devices per code.

• Testing & Commissioning: Full system testing and coordination with inspectors prior to tenant turnover.
